  43. <p><b>In-place Editable Parameters</b></p>
  44. <p>The parameters for a trace log session can be modified directly from the
  45. Trace Log Session List Window as shown below.&nbsp; All modifiable parameters
  46. are shown with dark text.&nbsp; Grayed out items cannot be modified.&nbsp; The
  47. number of parameters that can be modified changes with respect to whether the
  48. trace log session is running or not.</p>
  49. <h3><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:normal'>Modifying a value for a
  50. currently active trace log session causes an immediate update to the active
  51. trace log session. &nbsp;Modifying values for a stopped trace log session
  52. affects the behavior of the trace log session upon re-start.</span></h3>

  56. <p><b>Dockable Windows</b></p>

  58. normal'>Each of the windows can be �undocked� from the main TraceView frame
  59. window by grabbing the tool-bar type �handle� on the left of the window, and
  60. dragging it to the desired location.&nbsp; Such an �undocked� window is shown

  66. window to undock.&nbsp; Double clicking the title bar of an undocked window

  68. <p><b>Configurable Columns</b></p>
  69. <p>The individual columns of any of the dockable windows in TraceView can be
  70. dynamically resized.&nbsp; Columns can also be moved within the window.&nbsp;
  71. Columns may be resized in the usual way, by selecting (with the left mouse
  72. button) the divider between two columns and dragging it to the new width.&nbsp;
  73. To move a column, simply click and hold down the left mouse button on the
  74. column�s header and drag the column to its new position.</p>
  75. <h3><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Pausing The Output</span></h3>
  76. <h3><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:normal'>The output of the display
  77. windows can be paused by selecting a row, or moving the scroll handle on the
  78. right of the display.&nbsp; Traces will continue to be added, but the display
  79. will stay on the current line.&nbsp; Hitting �Enter� will start the display
  80. showing the most current line again.</span></h3>
  81. <h3><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Eliminating Unwanted Output</span></h3>

  83. normal'>It is possible to select or deselect the display of any column in any
  84. display except the �Group ID / Session Name� column in the Log Session List
  85. window which is always displayed.&nbsp; </span></h3>

  91. Right clicking on the column header of any column will bring up a menu for that
  92. display window which has all of the columns listed with the ability to check or
  93. uncheck the name to add or remove the column from the display.</span></h3>

  95. <h3><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:normal'>Left clicking the header
  96. of any column in the display output windows will cause the data in that window
  97. to be sorted by the data in the selected column.� Click the header once to sort
  98. ascending, click again to sort descending.</span></h3>
