This sample demonstrates a basic display driver frame buffer. The sample is a functional driver, rather than an example with partial code.
To build the sample, use the standard DDK build tool and follow the standard Microsoft® Windows® 2000 driver installation guide.
This sample works on both x86 and alpha platforms, is 64-bit compliant, and builds properly with Visual C 6.0. Both checked and free builds are available. The driver does not support Plug and Play or Power Management. Once built, the sample produces one binary: Framebuf.dll.
