Server Appliance Local User Interface

The Local User Interface component provides support for a 64x128 pixel LCD and 6-key keypad typically mounted on a server appliance case.

This component includes the following files and applications:

File Description
SALDM.exe Service responsible for reading key presses from a local 6-key keypad and displaying information on a local bit-mapped LCD.
Vmdisp.sys Intermediate driver that communicates with the low-level display driver and hardware.

There are no configuration requirements for this component.

Special Notes

The Local User Interface component is designed to work with the server appliance Core component.
