Summary

There are a number of compelling scenarios for UDDI services in the Enterprise.  This article examines three scenarios in depth.  It first looks at how UDDI can help a large organization with heterogeneous development environments and platforms use UDDI to organize and share Web Services and resources across the organization.  The second scenario looks at how an organization might use UDDI at run-time to provide optimization and redundancy for a Web Services architecture.  Lastly, the final scenario looks at how UDDI can be used outside the firewall to mangage partners and build a networked community around UDDI services.
