<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>Minidriver Development
Tool (MDT) is the application that should be used to convert minidrivers from
their old source format (Microsoft® Windows® 95 and 98, Microsoft Windows® 3.x,
Microsoft Windows NT® 4.0) to the Microsoft Windows® 2000/Windows® XP/Windows® Server 2003
source format. This application displays the converted Windows® 2000/Windows® XP/Windows®
Server 2000 source files in a logical representation known as a <i>workspace</i>. You can
launch these workspaces by using MDT to open MDW files. Within the MDW folder
are sample directories <i>Pcl5eres</i>, <i>Ep24res</i>, <i>Ep9res</i>, and so on,
all have their own MDW files, which can be used to launch their workspaces.
Please see the main DDK documentation set for more information on the MDT and
workspaces. GPD files are used for creating Unidrv minidrivers. A Unidrv
minidriver consists of a text-based generic printer description (GPD), which
can be contained in one or more GPD files. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<h3><span style='font-family:Verdana'>BUILDING THE SAMPLE<o:p></o:p></span></h3>

simply run "build" from this directory. This will compile the GPD
