  1. ;
  2. ; This file is used to specify where every files built in the SYSTEMTEST project NT build lab is
  3. ; binplaced relative to the root of the distribution point. If a file is not
  4. ; listed, it will end up in the dump directory.
  5. ;
  6. ; The format is like this:
  7. ;
  8. ; <imagename> <class name>
  9. ;
  10. ; where <imagename> is the filename.ext and <class name> is the directory off
  11. ; the root of the distribution point (retail is a placeholder for the root).
  12. ; If there are multiple class names for a single image, use a colon to separate
  13. ; each.
  14. ;
  15. ; All bits that ship in the NT base product and are installed with winnt32,
  16. ; must have a class name of retail.
  17. ;
  18. ; If you add a new file to the list, please refrain from creating your own
  19. ; special section. Doing so makes it difficult to detect duplicates. If
  20. ; you're unable to add your image due to a collision with an existing name,
  21. ; work it out with the other developer. Options include creating another
  22. ; placefil.txt for your project or using the ALT_PROJECT_TARGET macro in your
  23. ; sources file to change the base of the distribution point (doing so means
  24. ; your project will not install as part of base NT).
  25. ;
  26. ; sort /+17 < placefil.txt > placefil.srt
  27. ;
  28. ; will generate a list sorted by class name if you want.
  29. ;
  30. ; IMPORTANT NOTE:
  31. ;
  32. ; If you add a file to the system, YOU MUST make sure layout.inf is updated
  33. ; before you start depending on it or else you will cause a BVT break. Do
  34. ; not attempt to modify layout.inf yourself, but follow instructions on:
  35. ; http://ntbld/addtob.htm
  36. ;
  37. ; PLEASE KEEP THIS LIST SORTED
