<p class=Text>The IP conferencing components include <span class=SpellE>ipconf.tsp</span>and confmsp.dll. These two components are paired together within TAPI 3.1 architectureto support IP multicast audio/video conferencing.</p>

<p class=Text>The <span class=SpellE>ipconf.tsp</span> is a standard TAPI 3.1compliant telephony service provider (TSP). It is responsible for IP multicast callsignaling. Through other TAPI 3.1 components, it forwards to confmsp.dll multicastcall information, contained in a blob of session description protocol (SDP).</p>

<p class=Text>The confmsp.dll is a standard TAPI 3.1 compliant media serviceprovider (MSP). It receives from <span class=SpellE>ipconf.tsp</span> callinformation. Based on the call information, it builds DirectShow filter graphs toconstruct audio/video IP multicast streams. The MSP supports standard MSPImethods and exposes interfaces that allow control over individual participantsin a conference. </p>
